So today was the last day at Los Cocos, I was really looking forward to seeing Andreas and Jr. Not a minute after I stepped out of the van Andreas came up to me and gave me a huge hug! We held hands and walked across the street where we were met by Jr. He climbed up the side of me, gave me a hug and just held on to me. I could tell it was going to be another good day! We told the story of the Noah, the ark and the flood, we also made rainbow bead wristbands. Andreas was my helper, he passed out beads and yarn to all the other kids first, then got his. As we were all leaving and everyone was saying their goodbyes, my two buddies came up to me again along with a few others, and gave me hugs. As I was thinking about how much I was going to miss them…. I looked around at all of the youth completely surrounded by these kids, it was like I could actually see Gods love, our love and the kids love for us just flowing into one another and it brought me to tears. These wonderful kids are just so amazing to be around and interact with. This entire trip has been a real life changing experience for me, as well as others I’m sure, and I wouldn’t trade one single memory of it .for anything.
