My First Day in the Dominican Republic

Well after my first 24 hours in the Dominican, I can defiantly say this is an amazing place. The hospitality and love that we have experienced from everyone is amazing. Even though our flight was several hours late arriving, the pastor of the church insisted we go to her house for dinner despite the fact it was close to 1 in the morning. And boy was it worth it! Her family can cook and yall know I like to eat!

Long Day on the Miami Runway

After a quick and smooth flight from Tampa to Miami, our next flight was comical (for those easy going Trinity folks) and unbelievable to say the least. After an hour and a half A/C repair we taxi out to the runway where someone notices something in one of the front wheels, yes they put a spare tire on our plane! We sat on the Miami tarmac longer then our whole scheduled flight to Santiago (Dominican Republic).

After a safe but very long day of travel we were greeted with some amazing red carpet hospitality from the pastora (our hostess) and her family.
