Day Two….This morning started with a devotion led by Sarah.  The Good Samaritan story was the focus of the Bible reading and discussion.  We were given the task of discovering a fresh perspective of who exactly is our neighbor throughout the day.  We started our day at the pastor’s home with breakfast.  I have never tasted oatmeal so good!  At the work site, we formed re-bar (I don’t know the official name of the process).  I discovered that I just don’t have the knack for that!  We also worked as an assembly line to get the concrete blocks to the second floor.  Regardless of the task, we did a lot of talking, sharing, and establishing bonds with our Christian brothers and sisters.  On Mondays and Fridays, the community can receive clean water at the facility.  We watched as people loaded clean water…so grateful.  What a privilege to be a part of such a great mission in this area of God’s world!  Who’s my neighbor?  Those we serve side by side and those that we serve with grateful hearts.  Wow, isn’t God good?
