Exif-JPEG-422Wow, where to start?  When I woke up this morning I realized that this was going to be my first shower here in the DR with cold, cold water.  It was, but it was not as bad as I thought!  We went to the Pastora’s house for breakfast and were met by her and her loving family.  They always make me feel like I am so safe and loved.  We then traveled to a village that we have gone to many times in the past, but this time we saw the new school that was built for the children.  You can’t believe how beautiful it was.  The children sang a song for us and put on a little skit.  They were all so cute.  Wow, what a long way this village has come in the last few years.  The children held our hands and showed us all the wonderful things they have been doing.  It made me so happy inside.  These children have so few things, but they have so much of what life is really about!  When we left there we went to the main church that our group has been helping with for the last 13 years.  I haven’t seen the church in 3 years, and has it ever changed.  Again, we were greeted with open arms by everyone there.  We painted inside alittle and talked a lot.  Oh well, tomorrow is another day!!!  We are back at the Pastora’s house for supper.  The fellowship that you feel when you are here and with this group of people is unbelievable.  Thank you God for letting me be a part of this!
